    The volume launching will be rescheduled.

    On Wednesday, 17 December 2003, at the Headquarter of Metropolitan of Banat, located on Bd. C.D. Loga, No.7, a volume will be launched honoring the hundredth anniversary of the birth of Dumitru Staniloae: Dumitru Staniloae, or The Paradox of Theology. The book is edited by Teodor Baconsky and Bogdan Tataru-Cazaban of "Anastasia" Publishing House. Among the contributors are: Bogdan Tataru-Cazaban, Robert Lazu, Silviu Eugen Rogobete, Teodor Baconsky, Virgil Ierunca, Olivier Clement, Andre Scrima, Pr. Doru Costache, Mihai Neamtu, Andrew Louth, ÎPS Daniel Ciobotea, ÎPS Serafim Joanta. Time will be announced later.

    The December 17 Forum will be rescheduled.

    The Wednesday Forum will have as special guest Mr. Bogdan Tataru-Cazaban, mediaevalist and director of "Anastasia" Publishing House. The subject of this meeting will be: The Angels of the Nations: the theological-political dimension of angelology.

    On the 13th of December 2003, Areopagus Centre will host the meeting of the executive comittee of the Christian Medical Student Organization in Romania.

    On 10 December 2003, Areopagus Centre will organize a Christmas party for the young people who attend the computer course. Carols, presents and games will provide a good time for the participants.

    The subject of the Wednesday Forum is: Discussions on the National Campaign anti-AIDS: Not condemnation, but toleration. The subject is presented by dr. Maria Cerbu, specialized in infectious diseases. Moderator: Miss Erika Tonko, social worker at the Areopagus Center.

    The subject of the Wednesday Forum is: Christian Mission in Kazakstan: challenges and responses. Our guest will be Dr. Robin Plant. Mr. Plant obtained a doctorate in Theology at Edinburgh University, Scotland.

The subject discussed will be: Ideas Have Consequences: F.A. Hayek and Milton Friedman.

    The seminar is directed especially toward spiritual counsellors: priests, pastors, spiritual leaders, social assistants, psychologists, psychotherapists.

    The schedule will be as follows:

    • Friday, February 28, 18:00 - 21:00
    • Saturday, March 1, 10:00 - 13:00.
    We recommed this seminar and welcome all those interested.
