Ileana Rogobete, PhD (University of Cape Town) (CV)
Director of the Areopagus Institute of Family Therapy and Systemic Practice
Ileana Rogobete is a founding member of the Areopagus Center for Christian Studies and Contemporary Culture, being part of its staff from the beginning in 1997. In the department of language and culture that she coordinated, Ileana organized Romanian cultural awareness courses and taught Romanian to foreigners. Later in 2000, she started working with disadvantaged youth in group therapy, with families and couples and also with teenagers and young adults. She coordinated for three years the department of counseling and psychotherapy at CRISDU Areopagus, as well as the project for the HIV positive youngsters and their families. In 2006, Ileana had a significant role in the establishment and accreditation of the Areopagus Institute of Family Therapy and Systemic Practice, where she currently is acting as a director and family therapist, clinical trainer and supervisor. In 2011, she received her PhD from the University of Cape Town with a thesis on political trauma and recovery. Living for six years in South Africa, she had the opportunity to develop a multicultural clinical experience by working as a lecturer, researcher and family therapist with people from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. She is married to Silviu and they have two children: Andrei (24 years) and Ralph (20 years).
Emma Goldiș (CV)
Deputy Director and Coordinator of the Romanian Language Department
Emma has been part of the Areopagus team since November 2003. She began her work as a Romanian Language Teacher and Public Relations Officer. She currently serves as Deputy Director of the Areopagus Center and CRISDU Areopagus, while also coordinating the Romanian Language and Culture Department.

Emma is a sociable, dynamic, and dedicated person with a strong interest in education, communication, and intercultural relationships. She enjoys connecting with people from different cultural backgrounds and helping them integrate into Romanian society. She is also interested in intercultural and family counseling, as well as personal development, areas in which she has developed her knowledge and skills over the years.
Alina Crețu
Social Worker
Alina Crețu is the social worker at the CRISDU Areopagus Center, having joined our team in September 2024. She oversees the "Education Beyond Barriers" social project, bringing passion and dedication to her work in supporting the community.
Alina earned her degree in Social Work from the Faculty of Baptist Theology at the University of Bucharest, followed by a master’s in Evaluation and Supervision in Social Work, which solidified her knowledge in the field. She spent six years with the Humanitas Pro Deo Foundation, where she worked as a social worker and later as the director of a placement center, gaining invaluable experience.

Adelina Rasadea (CV)
Economist
Adelina Rasadea has been the accountant of the Areopagus Centre since the beginning of its functioning. She graduated in 1997 from the Faculty of Economic Sciences, specializing in Foreign Trade. Adelina was married to Victor in the spring of 2000 and they have three children. Adelina likes working in a team and she is a very dynamic person. Her hobbies are skiing, swimming and traveling. Right now she is on mathenity leave for their third child.
